HAVC, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, administers the 'Filming in Croatia' 25% cash rebates. Rising to 30% in less-developed regions — which helps shoots equip lighting departments with today's fixtures. Jadran Film in Zagreb, founded in 1946, gives stage space where LED setups. This includes colour-effects and virtual-production lighting, can be built under controlled conditions.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. The low power and heat of LED fixtures suit work in the heritage cores of Dubrovnik and Split, where rigging is constrained and access is permitted through HAVC and the regional film commissions.
