A 25% cash rebates on qualifying spend, rising to 30% in less-developed regions. Which makes camera-department days more affordable for global shoots. Jadran Film in Zagreb, founded in 1946, gives stage facilities for controlled work, while the Academy of Dramatic Art (Zagreb) supplies a steady base of trained technicians.

Dubrovnik stood in as King's Landing for 'Game of Thrones' and as Canto Bight in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi'. The cellars of Diocletian's Palace looked as Meereen. Credits that have given local DPs direct experience of large-scale global standards. Filming permits in the historic cores are set up through HAVC and the regional film commissions.
